Corporate Entertainment: Speed Painting in Orlando, Florida

I love performing in Orlando, Florida. There are a number of great venues and I can’t complain considering I am based in Tampa, only an hour and a half away from this hot spot for corporate events that are seeking corporate entertainment.

I had the pleasure of performing for Kimberly-Clark in Orlando last night. A great fortune 500 company that makes a host of big name products including Scott Tissue, Kleenex, Cottonelle, Kotex, you get the point. Boy, this company has some great employees who really know how to have fun. I am really glad they called me, a speed painter, to provide the entertainment their company was looking for.Corporate-Entertainment-Orlando

This was a really fun event which included celebrating an employee who was retiring. They spent some time “roasting” him as everyone shared stories about their time together. This was followed by a cake presentation and then my speed painting performance to close the evening.

When a company is looking for corporate entertainment, they call me to provide that boost to the event that will keep everyone talking about it. This event was no different and the crowd was fantastic and extremely enthusiastic as I did a fun set and painted Ray Charles, Mick Jagger, Einstein and the State of Liberty. My usual performance is three paintings but they hired me for a longer version of the show which included a fourth piece. As a finale, I called up the retiree and presented him with a speed painting I created of him a week prior. The crowd went crazy and it made for a great ending to the night and hopefully a lasting memory of his time with Kimberly-Clark.

I love providing corporate entertainment to amazing companies and wish the best to Bob in his retirement.

Corporate Entertainment: Speed Painter excites in Toronto, Canada

I had the pleasure of entertaining a great group of people in Toronto, Canada last night. I was hired to provide corporate entertainment at the Ontario Transportation Expo at their annual conference. OTE is a conference and tradeshow that allows those in the transportation industry to network.corporate-entertainment-toronto-canada

I flew into Buffalo, New York and I was met by freezing temperatures and snow. I figured mid April, the weather should start to be a bit nicer but that was not the case. I was not going to let a bit of snow stop me from giving them a great performance.

After arriving at the venue and setting up my canvases, we went through a quick sound check and I met with a few event organizers for last minute discussions about what to expect that night.

I was warned when I was booked that this group only enjoyed about five acts out of the last fifteen that entertained them over the years. When I heard this I was immediately up for the challenge, as I feel I have really polished my show over the last few years. I went in and gave them a solid speed painting performance, kept the crowd engaged and the feedback after the show was great. Thankfully, everyone loved it!

When I left Toronto the following morning the weather was no better. I absolutely love my job as a speed painter and touring corporate entertainer so I guess I can’t complain about a little snow in April.

Don’t risk booking the wrong corporate entertainment at your next event. If you have a crowd that is hard to please, give me a call, I will make look like a genius.

Corporate Entertainment: Speed Painter Amazes in Scottsdale, Arizona

I was excited about this show as it was for Arrow Electronics, a company that had sponsored me in the past for an event in Denver, Colorado.

A great relationship grew between myself and and a few top executives at the company, so they brought me in to provide corporate entertainment at their global conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Arrow Electronics, a fortune 500 company, provides technology solutions globally using electronic components. They have done some amazing things and even joined a collaborative project to create a car for Sam Schmidt. He is a former driver for the Indy Racing League whose career ended after an accident left him a quadriplegic.

The car is actually the first of its kind…

It uses an array of technology to allow someone paralyzed from the neck down to drive on a racetrack. Some of the features that allowed Schmidt to drive include cameras mounted on the dash to detect head movements to steer and a bite sensor to brake. It’s really an amazing thing.

This was a great event as there were people from all over the world. An amazing and energetic crowd who, thankfully, really seemed to enjoy my speed painting performance. I painted a fun set that really appealed to the global audience.

Ray Charles, Albert Einstein, and Gene Simmons were painted in mere minutes to an engaged audience. The event took place at an awesome outdoor venue. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, an award winning luxury resort, was where it all went down.

Arrow Electronics has offices all over the world. Once the performance was over they allowed different offices to stake a claim to the speed paintings.

One piece is going to the global office in Denver, while the other pieces are heading to Italy and Germany. I love to see the work I create go to so many parts of the world. I believe my paintings can be seen in over 15 countries that I know about. Hopefully, there are more countries that I have not been notified of.

I love what I do and want to thank Arrow Electronics for selecting me as their corporate entertainment last night. Hopefully, there will be many more performances to come with this cutting edge, innovative company.

Corporate Entertainment: Speed Painter performs for Merrill Lynch

Merrill Lynch contacted me during their search for corporate entertainment for their annual meeting. The Managing Director saw me at a charity benefit and thought I would be a great fit at their event. It took place in Jacksonville, Florida, which was a nice treat to perform back in the Florida warmth after a cold stretch of speed painting performances in Philadelphia and New York.

As is typical, I arrived at the venue several hours prior to my performance time to start setting up. My equipment was shipped to the venue ahead of time and the hotel had the stage built and ready for me to build my canvases and begin setup.  Once that was done I did a sound check and then I was good to go!

Corporate Entertainment - Merrill Lynch Bull Painting

After they wrapped up the meeting, I was ready to close the night with a bang. Companies looking for corporate entertainment often like to add my speed painting performance in at the end of the day. After a long day of meetings and speeches, they want a way to send their employees off excited about their message. This day I performed Einstein, Frank Sinatra, and the Statue of Liberty. I also painted the Merrill Lynch Bull in advance in the studio and presented it to them to display in their office. I put my own spin on it and was really pleased with how it turned out.  It received a huge applause when it was unveiled at the end of the performance.

When I returned to my hotel room later that night I had a nice cheese and fruit platter along with a bottle of wine waiting for me. Turns out a few members of the hotel staff stayed to watch my speed painting show and enjoyed it so much that they had this gift sent to my room! Such a nice gesture and really appreciated. Awesome night in Jacksonville, Florida providing corporate entertainment for the great people of Merrill Lynch!
